What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bank Teller/Customer Service Representative position at Cedar Security Bank?
Customer service position: handles interactions with bank customers at the window/drive up, or phone including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, balance inquiries, and opening and closing of accounts. Processes mail and night drop transactions. Assists customers with check orders, debit card and internet banking issues. Assists other bank personnel with balancing of G/L accounts, posting of loan transactions, balance loan portfolio. Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school education or GED
- Self-motivated
- Passion for customer service and helping people
- Superior customer relationship building skills
- Ability to maintain and balance a cash drawer
- Proficient working knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable with technology i.e. smartphones, iPads, online banking, remote deposit capture, ATM deposits, etc
- Basic understanding of personal finances and concept of budgeting
- Good organizational skills
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule Monday through Saturday
- Ability to function in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong commitment to personal growth, learning and success
- Ability to interact with customers and team members in a professional and personable manner
- Detailed oriented and ability to follow established policies and procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
