Physical Education Long Term Substitute - Cedar Trails Elementary

Cedar Springs Public Schools invites devoted educators to apply for the open position of Physical Education Long Term Substitute Teacher that's available for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year at Cedar Trails Elementary. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Michigan teaching certification with physical education endorsement preferred, but not required
• Extensive experience in behavior management
• Evidence of a positive attitude and human relationship skills
• Knowledge/interest in working with students from diverse backgrounds
• Evidence of high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in personal and professional matters
• Excellent team and interpersonal skills
• Possess high levels of adaptability

SALARY AND BENEFITS $150 per day through EduStaff for days 1-60 and $200 per day through EduStaff for days 61

Cedar Springs Public Schools is a Preschool through 12th-grade public school consisting of over 3,000 students and nearly 400 employees. We are located within the city limits of Cedar Springs, Michigan in Kent County. Cedar Springs Public Schools is one of 20 member public school districts within the Kent Intermediate School District (KISD). We are unique in that our schools are all located within a single campus setting with the exception of the Middle School which is located 1 mile south of the main campus. The setting is secure, picturesque, and allows easy access for families participating in activities for more than one child.
