We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Nurse to join our team at our multi-specialty physician clinic. The Compliance Nurse will be responsible for managing compliance with Evaluation and Management (E&M) coding guidelines within medical charts. This role is essential in ensuring that our clinic adheres to regulatory standards and maintains the highest quality of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical charts to ensure compliance with E&M coding guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide education on coding practices and compliance requirements.
- Conduct audits of medical records to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in coding regulations and guidelines to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related issues.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to compliance activities and findings.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or Certified Medical Coder
- Previous experience in a compliance role within a healthcare setting preferred.
