We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and organized Medical Office Specialist to join our orthopedic clinic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional administrative support, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Verify insurance information and process billing
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients
- Handle phone inquiries and respond to patient questions
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus
- Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in using office software and electronic health records is preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
This position is part-time - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8-4.
