Job Summary:
The Community Site Supervisor is responsible for assessing, training, and supervising persons served in a variety of tasks in a community employment setting in the manufacturing sector. Must meet customer quality specifications at assigned community sites. Will participate in team efforts to implement plans for persons served. This position spends a good amount of time driving a forklift to meet production needs.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, train and supervise persons served in a variety of job skills – usually in a community setting
- Maintain records relating to persons served, contracts, materials, supplies and equipment
- Insure that policies and practices with regard to safety and community-based employment rules are followed
- Transport and/or assist with transportation of persons served to and from facility and/or from site to site.
- Participate in on-going self development through meeting and training opportunities and reading publications as required
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Work Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Forklift driving experience required.
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to effectively communicate and deal with co-workers and the public
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Displays good judgment, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Good driving record
Position requires valid driver’s license, current vehicle insurance and acceptable driving record. Background check and physical required.
