Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising employees, production workers, and persons served assigned to a variety of production tasks.The Production Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day department activities, monitoring the performance of employees, and providing performance feedback. The Production Supervisor is responsible for implementing department policies and procedures and ensures company guidelines are followed. This position spends a good amount of time driving a forklift to meet production needs.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, train and supervise employees, production workers, and persons served in a variety of job skills
- Assist in planning, implementing, and reviewing individual program plans
- Maintain accurate daily records of individual attendance and production; communicating information as requested
- Drive forklift on a daily basis
- Maintain equipment and machines in assigned work area
- Maintain accurate inventory with back-up materials such as shipping receipts, packing slips, and production records
- Assist in upgrading production methods to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Assist in supplemental programming as appropriate
- Assist in material handling
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Work Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Forklift driving experience required.
Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively communicate and deal with co-workers and the public
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Displays good judgment, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Position requires valid driver’s license, current vehicle insurance and acceptable driving record. Background check and physical required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $24.00 per hour
