Job Description

Cedarbrook Senior Care & Rehab is seeking FT/RPT Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A's) @ both their Skilled Nursing Facilities (Allentown & Fountain Hill) operated by County of Lehigh.

• MUST HAVE PA Certified Nursing Assistants CERTIFICATION**
  
  

A position in this class possesses a current certificate issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to perform nursing assistant work at the full performance level, providing direct care to residents of a County nursing home facility on an assigned shift and unit. A position in this class provides residents with personal care, carries out assigned duties, and insures a safe and clean environment. A position in this class receives assignments and review of work from higher-level, supervisory nursing personnel and reports to a supervisory nursing position.

Responsibilities:

• Provides physical care and assists residents with ADL’s; i.e., feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, dental hygiene.
• Obtains resident’s vital signs and records them in the medical record.
• Observes resident behavior and condition; reports any change in condition, unusual behavior and/or complaints to a licensed nurse.
• Records food intake, weight, activities carried out.
• Assists residents with ambulation and transfers, restorative nursing procedures which include application and removal of splints, positioning devices, range of motion exercises and restorative ambulation exercises.
  
  

Requirements:

• Current Pennsylvania DOH Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) Certificate required.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

We pay based on experience! - $1.50/hr extra differential if certified for 5 Years!!!

Full-time (80hrs), Regular Part-time (48hrs)

• $20.47/hr PLUS applicable differentials.
• Certified for 5 Years? If so, add $1.50/hr differential.
• Generous FT/RPT shift differentials - 2nd $2.00, 3rd $0.75, Weekend $2.00!!
• All require weekend and holiday rotation.
