Position Summary
Cedardale Health & Fitness is currently looking to fill a new full-time position of Assistant Fitness Manager for our growing Fitness department. The Assistant Fitness Manager's primary responsibility is to support the Fitness Department and Fitness Director. The right candidate must be an experienced personal trainer who is looking for the right opportunity to transition into a management role. This position reports to the Fitness Manager.
● Personal training and coaching on a regular basis are required.
● Maintains safe and healthy environment by enforcing personal training standards and procedures, and instructing clients on proper form and technique to maintain safety goals.
● Manages training schedules, liaison between staff and Fitness Director.
● Assists with admin tasks such as maintaining reference manuals, policies and procedures, fitness equipment inventory.
● Responds to member inquiries and concerns related to fitness, equipment & programs in a timely fashion. Work with equipment maintenance coordinator as needed.
● Demonstrates professionalism with internal and external customers consistently.
Compensation includes a base salary, hourly rate for coaching and personal training sessions along with an uncapped commission.
Requirements: Current Nationally Recognized Personal Training or Strength Conditioning Certification is required. CPR/AED
