What will you be doing in this role?
Working in close collaboration with all levels of management, the Financial Analyst creates and generates regular and ad-hoc financial reports, performs analyses of financial reports, and makes recommendations based on findings. The Financial Analyst takes an active role in budgeting, forecasting and / or development of projections. May serve as a liaison to management between other financial service areas. Handles a full range of project components in an independent and autonomous manner, independently trouble-shoots problems and recommends corrective action. Applies detailed knowledge of the organization, as well as knowledge of the department / service line function(s) and its interrelation with the larger organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Generates and creates financial reports on a regular cadence and ad-hoc basis.
- Analyzes and interprets data, identifies trends, and provides recommendations based on findings.
- Assembles / summarizes data into presentations and may present findings to management.
- Routinely communicates with supervisors relating to issues and deliverables.
- Coordinates with other members of finance team and / or management to review financial information and forecasts
- Applies federal and state regulatory and licensing requirements, as well as organizational by-laws, rules and regulations, and policies and procedures to all assigned projects
Education and Experience requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Experience :
A minimum of one year of financial analysis, financial auditing, or accounting experience required.
