We would be happy to hear from you. Our Interventional Radiologists are board-certified physicians who specialize in minimally invasive, image-guided treatments. We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Tech to perform basic and advanced Peripheral, Body and Neuro Vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. The hours may vary depending on the department's needs and you will be part of an on-call rotation.Cedars-Sinai Medical Center has been recognized as #1 in California and eight years in a row on the “Best Hospitals” Honor Roll by U.S. News & World Report, 2023-24. Summary of Essential Duties :  Performs Radiologic Interventional procedures using approved protocols per standards of practice for safety, speed, organization, precision and accuracy Receives and transcribes verbal orders from licensed independent practitioners Scrubs, monitors, assists and circulates safely and timely; supplying necessary equipment and performing vascular site management, while supporting FDA approved and clinical research procedures Reviews all documentation and properly processes all Radiologic Interventional images for accuracy and prepares / sends images to designated viewing systems Assists physicians performing procedures and ensures all supplies and / or devices are prepared and available in accordance with sterile technique and infection control policies and practices Prepares and administers contrast and follows department procedures and guidelines in handling of contrast in compliance with all safety requirements QualificationsEducation :  High School Diploma or GED requiredGraduate of a JRCERT accredited radiological program requiredCertifications / License : ARRT-R and Vascular Interventional or Cardiac Interventional certification requiredApplicants with ARRT-R only may be considered as an IR Tech ICalifornia CRT and Fluoroscopy certification requiredBLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross requiredACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred or willing to obtain within one year from start dateExperience :  Interventional Radiology experience preferredA minimum of 5 years of IR experience required for consideration as IR Tech IIApplicants with less than 5 years of experience may be considered as an IR Tech I Keywords : Intervention, Interventional, Radiology, Tech, Technician, Technologist, Imaging, Healthcare, Hospital, Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, California About UsCedars-Sinai is a leader in providing high-quality healthcare encompassing primary care, specialized medicine and research.
