As a Nurse Practitioner in Pediatrics, you will play a pivotal role in delivering world-class healthcare to our Pediatric Surgical Outreach Program. Your expertise and compassionate care will be instrumental in crafting the lives of children and their families. What you will be doing:
- Provide outstanding, comprehensive care to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and complete care.
- Coordinate and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Participate in groundbreaking research to advance pediatric healthcare.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with established protocols.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with medical advancements.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master of Nursing Degree.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered.
Experience:
- One (1) plus years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a pediatric setting.
- NP experience in NICU, Pediatrics, and/or Pediatric ER setting preferred
- NP pediatric surgery experience preferred
Licensure/Certifications Requirements:
- Current CA RN License.
- Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing License.
- NP National Certification.
- Current DEA License (2-5).
- Current (Life Support Certification) required.
