Position Overview :
As a Dietary Aide at Cedarvale Commons , you will play an important role in the food service process, ensuring that meals are served according to residents’ dietary needs and preferences. You will work under the direction of the dietary team to assist with food preparation, meal delivery, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities :
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established guidelines.
Help ensure that residents’ specific dietary needs and preferences are met, including special diets or restrictions.
Serve meals to residents in a timely and professional manner, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Assist with food storage and inventory management, ensuring proper handling and rotation of food supplies.
Maintain resident meal records and ensure that food served is appropriate for each resident’s individual needs.
Work closely with the dietary team to maintain a smooth workflow during meal service.
Provide friendly, compassionate service to residents, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in a food service or dietary aide role is preferred, but not required.
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
