Cedarview is seeking an experienced full-time RN Supervisor for the night shift (7pm-7am). This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of safe and therapeutic resident care from admission through discharge, in collaboration with physicians, families, and other members of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities of the RN Supervisor:
- Supervise staff providing direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation.
- Oversee the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Nursing Degree from an accredited program or college/university.
- Current, unencumbered, active Ohio RN license and current CPR certification.
- At least one year of experience in Long Term Care.
Skills and Qualities:
- In-depth knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as state, federal, and regulatory requirements pertaining to long-term care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to deal tactfully with a team of interdisciplinary professionals, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
