Position Summary :
As a Cedarview Rehabilitation and Nursing CNA (CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT), you will enjoy working in an environment that promotes professional growth and development. STNA individuals are responsible for caring for the residents under the direction and supervision of a RN / LPN. This position reports to the Director of Nursing.
Essential Functions of CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) :
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Assist in daily care of residents such as bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, repositioning, and other activities of daily living.
Promote and protect resident rights, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident’s personal belongings, report suspected abuse or neglect.
Adhere to all policies and procedure of CCH Corporation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties and Responsibilities :
Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift
Help Residents with personal hygiene
Observe Residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
Document Resident food and fluid intake
Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
Making the Resident's beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy
Transport Residents within the facility
Assist nurses and other staff as needed
Adhere to CCH Corporation professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards
Maintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data
Promote and protect resident rights, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident’s personal belongings, report suspected abuse or neglect.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications and Skills :
Current and Valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification required
Excellent interpersonal skills
Effective communication skills
Good collaboration and teamwork skills
Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
Keen attention to detail
In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions
Physical strength and stamina
