Sales Development Support Coordinator

Cedarwood Distribution
Springfield, OR Full Time
POSTED ON 2/21/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 4/19/2025

Summary

This job supports the sales team by clearing distractions. This role will be the voice of the company, a key linchpin in our customer relationships (both inbound and outbound), and a tremendous help in making sure the many things that we need to get done cross the finish line.

Who is a good fit for this role?

If you thrive in a small but fast-paced, team-first environment, this role is for you! You’ll support sales, logistics, and customers—quoting jobs, solving freight issues, dispatching orders, and even pitching in at the warehouse. You will especially enjoy this role if you enjoy having relationships with customers and vendors over the phone.

We all wear multiple hats, problem-solve directly, and get things done without the “not my job” attitude. If you’re proactive, competitive yet team-oriented, and bring a good sense of humor (dad jokes welcome!), you’ll fit right in. This job can become part of a much longer career with our company.

Culture Statement

The right candidate will be an excellent fit for our company culture. Please take a look at this statement.

  • We wear multiple hats and remain flexible.

Wearing multiple hats is part and parcel of a small business team. We do not complain that it’s “not my job.”

  • Our default is “yes!” but we accept a valid “no.”

We take honest assessments about our abilities and set realistic expectations for each other.

  • We are "family first."

We love our families. Our work is designed to serve them.

  • We use common sense before we interrupt.

We let each other finish our thoughts. A conversation between a customer and ourselves is sacrosanct.

  • We have direct, problem-solving mindsets.

We admit to our mistakes and we know we are human. We cannot get better if we do not tackle the issues head on.

  • We will not walk on thin ice.

We get upset about things, but we do not bite each other’s heads off. We do not tolerate emotionally unstable people working inside of our organization.

  • We are blunt, but strive to be kind in our honesty.

Sorry (not sorry).

  • We are equal parts competitive and supportive.

We are all on the same team, but we all want to have the best batting average.

  • We trust each other to have each other’s best interests at heart.

We don’t stand for gossip or worry about others motivations. We don’t beat around the bush.

  • We want you to be the best version of yourself.

We hold each other to high standards and believe peer coaching is important to our team growth.

  • We have an exceptionally good sense of humor.

Because dad jokes are clutch!
