Job Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Restorative Nurse, assist residents in the completion of restorative care plans
- Provide high quality daily nursing care in accordance with each resident’s care plan and in accordance with facility policies & procedures
- Assist residents in completing all activities of daily living including ambulating, transferring, bathing, dressing, eating and toileting
- Participate in resident care assessments
- Assist in development of resident treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation of each resident’s activities of daily living and personal care needs
- Participate in scheduled trainings, in-services and programs to maintain certification and enhance the quality of care provided to all residents
- Work directly with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide the highest quality care to all residents
- Provide timely communication to team members to aid in the care and treatment of residents and the development of person-centered care plans
- Possess a strong understanding of long-term care federal and state regulations
- Other duties as required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) licensure in the State of Ohio required
- CPR and First Aide training preferredExcellent customer service skills required
- Excellent communication skills required
- Ability to effectively multi-task and remain calm under pressure required
- Basic computer skills required; experience with Point Click Care preferred
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including but not limited to lifting, bending, turning and pushing
