- Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and / or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees are expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge and manage a high level of risk. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. - Responsibilities -
- Implementing the Next Generation Algo Trading Technology platform to ensure our current legacy system can handle the high-volume of data necessary to trade complex instruments for sophisticated clients.
- Working extensively with our Automation Testing tool, Workflow Management System and Trading Engines essential to this project.
- Analyzing business requirements, designing the software system, developing special software, testing software and investigating and resolving production issues.
- Performing requirements gathering, providing production support and analyzing trading data
- Developing, enhancing, modifying, and maintaining applications
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Required skills
- Expertise in core Java server-side development Familiarity with SDLC tools like JIRA, Bibucket / git, Jenkins / Teamcity 5 years of experience in finance industry
- Desired skills
- Experience in Algo container development Expertise in Equities / FX / Futures / Rates asset classes Knowledge about Equities market microstructure
