Summary of Responsibilities:
As a Quality Scientist, you will be responsible for supporting the organization’s quality management system supporting the release of materials to support R&D, clinical, and commercial manufacturing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct quality activities (inspections, testing, investigations, etc.).
• Maintain accurate and detailed quality records and present to stakeholders.
• Participate in audits and inspections.
• Create and revise QMS documents and quality events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Model and promote compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, and other relevant standards.
• Performs equipment validation and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
Qualifications:
• Basic understanding of quality control principles and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 years of experience in quality assurance or related field, preferably in medical device industry.
