We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting to clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs.
- Launder clothes and linens as needed to maintain a clean living environment.
- Observe and report changes in clients' conditions or behaviors to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care provided in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support clients with mobility assistance and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals to meet the specific needs of each client.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or senior care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in health status.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to perform light housekeeping duties including cooking, cleaning, and laundry as part of daily care routines.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team within home care systems.
