Home Health Aide

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with developmental disabilities and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety.
• Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
• Support clients in hospice care settings, ensuring comfort during end-of-life transitions.

Experience

• Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
• Experience in assisted living or home health care settings is a plus.
• Familiarity with systems related to patient care management is beneficial.
• Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to work independently while following established care plans.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 16 per week
