We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by assisting them with daily activities and personal care. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care and maintaining the dignity of those you serve.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed health plans.
- Provide specialized care for clients with specific needs such as dementia care or catheter care.
- Help clients with mobility assistance, including transferring from bed to wheelchair or assisting with walking.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical records management is advantageous.
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate.
