Position Summary :
CEEUS is seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of our distribution centers building and systems. This role involves hands-on maintenance work, managing vendor relationships, developing and performing preventive maintenance, and responding to system alerts or after-hours calls. The Facilities Maintenance Technician ensures all building systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintenance Duties :
- Maintain master key profile of all related facility keys
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, building automation systems, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, propane, and electric forklifts.
- Address maintenance needs for exemplary systems, including but not limited to :
HVAC management.
Elevator systems.Generator power systems.Repair / replace doors, locks, drywall, ceiling tiles, and other facility related components.Repair and install lighting fixtures, outlets, switches and other general electrical functions throughout the facilityMaintain and repair commercial / residential kitchen appliancesPreventive Maintenance & Reporting :
Develop, manage, and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all building systems according to manufacturer's recommendations.Generate, interpret, and maintain system and maintenance reports, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.After-Hours Availability :
Respond promptly to after-hours calls via remote access or in-person as needed to address urgent maintenance issues.Vendor and Contract Management :
Oversee current contracts with external vendors responsible for grounds and building systems.Evaluate vendor performance and recommend adjustments to service agreements as necessary.Essential Physical & Sensory Functions :
Color : Ability to identify and distinguish colors critical for system monitoring and diagnostics.Auditory Sensitivity : Detect audible alerts and diagnose unexpected machinery noise.Physical Agility :Climb vertical ladders up to 40 feet.
Lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds.Bend, stoop, kneel, and perform other physically demanding tasks.Sensory Perception :Detect unusual odors and temperature changes with hands and fingers.
Postural Endurance :Sit for up to 4 hours.
Stand for up to 4 hours.Qualifications :
5 years of experience in building systems maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical / electrical equipment.Familiarity with systems like Trane Connect, Schindler Elevator, and CAT generators preferred.Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop and manage schedules and reports.Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Willingness to work flexible hours, including after-hours as needed.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Benefits :
