Job Summary:
We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician who is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and optimization of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations in manufacturing or production environments. This role involves diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing routine preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions. The technician works closely with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain high levels of productivity while ensuring safety standards and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Install, replace, or modify equipment as needed and provide technical support during production.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, calibration, and alignment, to prolong equipment life.
- Work with engineers and production teams to improve equipment efficiency, reduce downtime, and address technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Follow safety protocols and comply with industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Respond quickly to emergency repairs and provide support during unplanned downtime.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, including overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
