We are seeking an Warehouse Operator who is responsible for the daily operations of a warehouse, including receiving and processing goods, operating equipment, and maintaining inventory. This role involves operating warehouse equipment, organizing inventory, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Warehouse Operators ensure that products are stored and handled correctly, inventory is accurately tracked, and orders are processed and shipped in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities and product condition, and update inventory records in the system.
- Order Preparation: Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and meeting customer specifications.
- Storage & Organization: Organize and store products in designated areas, ensuring proper stock rotation and maintaining a clutter-free and organized warehouse.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Shipping and Receiving: Assist with loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipment contents, and preparing outgoing shipments according to customer orders.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure that the warehouse is kept clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Inventory Control: Conduct periodic stock counts and assist with inventory audits to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of goods received, inventory movements, and shipments.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
