Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle various situations with professionalism and composure.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activities.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a visible presence.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary.
• Manage conflicts effectively to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or misconduct.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV systems.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must pass background checks as required by company policy.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
