Job Title: Process Assistant II
Location: Onsite (Potential for Hybrid in 6–8 Months) || Leesburg, VA 20175 (Eastern Time Zone)
Work Schedule/Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Minimum 40 work hours per week.
Pay Rate: $19.60 per hour
Duration/Length of Assignment: 13 Month Contract to Hire
*Must be able to convert to a full-time employee without sponsorship, restrictions, or an additional employer*

Position Overview:
Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a Process Assistant II to join their operational support team onsite in Leesburg, VA. This role was created to support a broader initiative aimed at streamlining internal business workflows, improving the accuracy of operational data, and ensuring timely communication between departments. As part of a larger administrative support group, the Process Assistant II will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of internal systems and documentation, assisting with report generation, and ensuring that business processes are carried out efficiently and in compliance with company standards. The position is heavily focused on executing routine but critical clerical functions within a defined process, including data entry, information reconciliation, and document tracking. It will require consistent collaboration with other departments to manage shared workflows, clarify discrepancies, and help sustain smooth business operations. This position is fully onsite to start but may transition to a hybrid model after 6–8 months based on performance and departmental needs. The role is ideal for professionals with strong attention to detail, familiarity with business systems like SAP and Excel, and a proactive approach to managing multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of general office or clerical experience
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to manage multiple activities and resources simultaneously
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Previous experience in a coordination role involving process or document flow
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient general PC/computer skills and comfort navigating internal systems
Day to Day/Responsibilities:
- Support routine clerical functions that align with a structured business process or workflow phase
- Perform data entry and record-keeping tasks using SAP to process and store relevant transactional information
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize data, create standard reports or charts, and assist in routine data tracking
- Set up and maintain structured records and filing systems to ensure proper documentation across team functions
- Prepare reports using existing templates and guidelines to reflect ongoing process activity
- Compile and validate data from multiple sources or departments to support internal documentation needs
- Perform basic to complex arithmetic calculations when required for validating totals or processing numerical entries
- Contact internal departments to collect information, verify entries, and reconcile missing or incorrect documentation
- Make minor corrections and perform basic coding of documents before submission or recordkeeping
- Inform appropriate personnel of any incomplete, inconsistent, or missing data that needs resolution
- Use internal systems and equipment to retrieve, review, or update process-related documents and forms
- Support internal reporting needs by generating or contributing to routine and special reports
- Maintain documentation logs to reflect status and completion of assigned processing tasks
- Contribute to the consistency and accuracy of internal business processes by performing clerical and administrative tasks in a timely and efficient manner
