Customer Account Management Representative β Hybrid (Richmond, VA)
Pay: $19.50/hr | Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking Customer Account Management Representatives to join our team! This hybrid role is based in Richmond, VA and requires candidates to live within a 45-minute commute. Youβll assist residential customers with billing inquiries, account management, and service concerns while providing top-tier customer service.
π¨ Key Requirements:
βοΈ Call center experience required (inbound preferred)
βοΈ Stable work history
βοΈ No vacations within the first 90 days due to training
βοΈ Must pass a drug screen (medical cards not accepted)
βοΈ Must pass a credit check due to handling Private Personal Information (PPI)
π Responsibilities:
πΉ Assist customers with billing concerns, account updates, and service inquiries
πΉ Conduct billing reconciliation and explain electric rates
πΉ Handle high-bill concerns with professionalism and problem-solving skills
πΉ Utilize multiple software platforms while assisting customers over the phone
πΉ Maintain privacy and security compliance
π‘ Qualifications:
β Required:
- 2 years of customer service experience (in-person or phone)
- Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, video conferencing tools)
- Ability to multitask between screens while assisting customers
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
β Preferred:
- Associate degree
- Utility industry experience
- Bi-lingual skills (a plus, but not required)
π Schedule & Work Environment:
π Training: Monday β Friday, 8:00 AM β 5:00 PM
β³ Post-training schedule: 8:00 AM β 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM β 5:30 PM (varies by business need)
π Hybrid role (onsite remote) β local candidates only
π Must be available for extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
