- CEI’s Fortune 30 Client in Media and Telecom is adding a Wireless Test Engineer to their team!
Job at a glance:
- Long term contract with potential for extension and/or permanent placement

- On-site position at 1800 Arch Street Philadelphia, PA
Responsibilities:
- Support the XM performance team for measuring the wireless network performance including 4G, 5G and Wi Fi network Mobile.
- Develop and maintain testing strategy, test plans and test cases for measuring the overall customer experience.
- Collect logs and perform triaging of defects from device testing.
- Perform a walk test in the field to simulate some customer experience use cases.
- Prepare the test report and presentation to show the test finding.
- Coordinate debugging sessions between OEMs and engineering teams to investigate issues for resolution.
- Support other device technology initiatives & new feature rollout within Comcast including Data offload over WiFi, Data offload over CBRS network via DSDS, mmWave, 5G SA etc.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams deliver activities and tasks necessary for successful launch and achievement of business objectives.
Required Skills:
- Good understanding of wireless technologies including VoLTE, VoWiFi, 4G, 5G (SA and NSA) network architecture and protocols.
- Experience in device logging tools like QXDM, XCAP, XCAL etc.
- Strong knowledge of WiFi, 4G, 5G (SA & NSA) call flows and network architecture.
- Experience in working on iOS & Android devices in a carrier lab & field certification environment.
