The repair technician is responsible for providing service and customer support. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical / electronic equipment. Advises customer on operation procedures and requirement of systems. Communicates effectively over the phone to assist customers. Tests and verifies the functionality of the equipment sent in for repair. Diagnoses errors or technical problems and determines proper solutions. Document processes and complete required documentation. Collaborate with technical team to resolve technical issues. Complete pre-sale upgrades and conversions as needed to meet customer orders. Evaluate, refurbish systems returned from demonstrations and rental activities. Understand technical problems effectively through proper analysis, evaluation and diagnoses. Responsible for setting up basic network connections Must troubleshoot basic network connections Define IP address by assigning subnet and IP address.
