CEIS | Clover Leaf Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM 3) to lead and ensure the timely completion of complex technical and operational projects supporting Department of Energy (DOE) initiatives. This role requires hands-on leadership in planning, executing, tracking, and closing out project efforts while aligning deliverables with high-level customer requirements. This position will work in close collaboration with internal teams, DOE stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and mission success. This is a remote position with occasional travel to Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee technical or operational projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with DOE requirements and project milestones.
Define technical requirements, establish deliverables, and develop project plans, schedules, and resource strategies.
Monitor progress, assess risks, communicate updates, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project scope, cost, and schedule.
Oversee project documentation and ensure compliance with DOE Order 413.3B and other regulatory guidelines.
Provide oversight for performance assurance activities including management assessments, causal analysis, and tracking of corrective actions.
Support event investigations, critiques, and root cause and effectiveness reviews.
Contribute to the development and improvement of program policies, procedures, and standards.
Cultivate and maintain high-level internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Provide clear, timely communication to all levels of management regarding project status, risks, and achievements.
Utilize and maintain data within DevonWay or similar platforms for performance tracking and reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or management discipline; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum of 8 years of DOE experience, including at least 5 years supporting a Category II Nuclear Facility.
Proven experience managing D&D, environmental restoration, or 413.3B construction projects.
Documented experience in corrective action management and performance assurance activities.
Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, including DevonWay.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational skills.
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain effective customer and stakeholder relationships.
