Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate site safety activities related to the liquid fuel addition scope.
- Oversee safety preparation for pre-outage work and manage safety processes throughout the outage.
- Ensure all contractors complete required safety orientations.
- Manage and support safety permitting processes, including: Work permits, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined space permits, Other project-specific safety documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between the construction team and safety leadership to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
- Provide field safety oversight and guidance to ensure safe work practices during pump and pipe installation, and other related construction activities.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Strong site safety and construction experience in a power plant environment.
- Hands-on experience with pumps, piping, and related mechanical systems.
- Proven ability to work with contractors and project teams to enforce safety protocols.
- Familiarity with power plant safety procedures, including LOTO and confined space entry.
- Experience does not need to be specific to 7FA gas turbines.
