Full Job Description

Do you enjoy being on a construction site and don’t mind getting your hands dirty then we have the job for you! We have an open position as Jobsite Administrator working in the Florence, SC region.! The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to juggle tasks, think on your feet and work well in a small team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills – Spoken Spanish an asset
  • Highly motivated to successfully interact with clients and team members.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and be legally able to work in the United States of America.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review timesheets
  • Observe construction and generate written field reports.
  • Generate written punch-lists
  • Generate correspondence to contractors, clients and team members.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding
  • Attending meetings and take notes with DOT
  • Distribute and tract equipment given to employees
  • Maintain an organized jobsite trailer / office

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of site design principles and construction practices.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and specifications.
  • Ability to read, update and maintain various records and files.
  • Ability to access, operate and maintain various software applications.
  • Ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing.
  • Skill in operating Microsoft Office/Excel.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with contractors, clients, and team members.

Cekra was established over 15 years ago and we paint and repair bridges across the country. We currently have several projects in South Carolina and we are recruiting a Jobsite Administrator to support the Jobsite Supervisor with paperwork, errands, task management and organizations help. The role will require travel to jobsites in SC, occasional longer shifts and working on a construction site.
