Job Summary
We are seeking a MQ (IBM MQ) administrator installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IBM MQ systems, ensuring smooth and reliable message queuing and integration services.
Years of experience needed 10 Years
Technical Skills:
- Ability to administer the message objects associated with all Web Sphere MQ objects such as Queues, Process Definitions, Channels and Listeners.
- Good experience in adding MQ queue manager to cluster environment, WLB (Workload Balancing).
- Having knowledge in setting up SSL, Multi-instance QMGR s.
- Knowledge on removing the partial repository queue manager from the cluster.
- Experience in supporting enterprise applications with good understanding of three tier architecture.
- Azure/Unix/Perl/Python scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Good documentation skills
- Strong desire to train and mentor others in the team.
- Installing & configuring MQ Series on various environments like Windows & Linux, AIX, and Solaris.
- Create and configure MQ Objects like Queue Managers, Remote Queues, LocalQueues and Queue Aliases.
- Experience In setting up the channel, Application triggering.
- Depending on Application requirement, Altering/Editing the IBM MQ Queue Manager and its Objects.
- Configure and Implement Clustering on Client/Server Architecture, monitor/Administrate IBM MQ Queue Manager and associated facilities.
- Hands on experience in resolving the few channel Retrying Scenarios.
- Good experience in creating dead letter queue and troubleshooting the DLQ scenarios.
- Knowledge on Suspending and resuming the queue manager from the cluster.
- Good knowledge on transaction Logs.
- Experience in recreating the damaged object and involved in clod start procedure in test/dev/prod environment.
- Handling the incident management, change management, Problem management.
Hands on Experience in resolving the Major high/critical, Go-live changes and server major activity.
