This position is responsible for processing customer’s products according to their specifications.
1. Process customer orders per history sheets and/or supervisors instructions.
2. Complete time studies pertaining to customer orders utilizing a logical approach.
3. Work closely with other employees and other department to complete tasks.
4. Must follow all safety policies, procedures and training given.
1. Placing non-hazardous waste such as gloves & paper towels into plastic satellite drums
2. Rinsing EP Fluid & Nitric Acid off parts with water into rinse water collection areas
3. Placing EP Fluid and Nitric Acid contaminated filters into hazardous waste satellite drums
4. Placing EP Salts and Nitric Acid Salts from tank clean-out into hazardous waste satellite drums
1. Communicates in a clear, professional manner and exercises proper etiquette toward supervisors and fellow employees.
2. Listens to instructions and asks questions to gain understanding of procedures.
3. Able to interpret written instructions from supervisors and customers.

1. Job requires being on your feet much of an 8 hour day.
2. Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs. multiple times during the day.
3. Occasional heavier team lifting/maneuvering of items larger than 100 lbs.
4. Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
· Project Management Skills
o Read and interpret work orders/blue prints for practical application
o Properly utilize required documentation, labeling and work tracking procedures.
o Read and interpret specifications and work history information for practical application
· Preparation Skills:
o Un-package parts
o Count parts and record quantity
o Label parts and part containers
o Inspect and pre-clean parts with various cleaning agents.
· Passivation Activities:
o Load/unload heavy parts into baskets & place/remove parts in/out of passivation bath by hand up to 50 lbs., team lifting to 100 lbs. and use of forklifts and hoists for items over 100 lbs. or when extra manpower is not available.
o Spray pickle passivation techniques that may require additional PPE up to Tyvek Suits and Supplied Air Respirator (SAR) equipment.
o Rinsing large volumes of acid from larger customer projects using low pressure potable water and PPE such as face shields, steel toe rubber boots and chemical aprons as applicable.
o Pressure washing large components with alkaline cleaners, potable rinse water and final rinsing with RO/DI water.
· EP Set-up Skills:
o Use of simple pre-designed racks to electropolish selected surfaces of stainless steel and high nickel alloy parts
* Custom design racks around one off customer projects made of stainless steel and high nickel alloys
* Utilize rectifiers to connect DC electrical power to customer projects between 5-15 volts DC.
· Post Process Skills:
o Pig/rinse/dry parts
o Buff parts
o Post process cleaning
o Re-crating, banding, heat shrink wrapping customer projects for shipment
· Support Skills:
o Operating forklifts of various sizes to perform operations up to unloading/loading large/heavy items
o Assisting with loading and unloading large vessels onto tractor/trailers with forklifts and hoists
o Occasional confined space trainable for entry and overwatch attendant responsibilities
o Respirator use with repeated training and fit testing with Supplied Air Respirator (SAR) equipment
o Overhead hoist operation
o Cleaning/preparing of equipment/tooling.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
