We are seeking people with amazing personalities for a Part-time/ Full time Dental assistant, responsible for the performance of chairside duties, assisting Dental Clinicians, including seating and preparing patients for treatment. This position is more than just a job, its an opportunity to learn and grow with a terrific dental team. Preferably bilingual in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee dental health service activities and personnel
- Work collaboratively with the dentist to maintain a smooth back office flow
- Maintain a clean environment to ensure patient safety
- Establish and enforce back office policies and procedures
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures
- Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Take diagnostic x-rays
- Greet and prepare patients for treatments
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the dental field preferred, but not required. We can provide training opportunities for those interested in becoming a dental assistant.
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience in all aspects of general dentistry, including oral surgery and endodontics, is preferred but not required
- Reliable
- Bilingual-Spanish and English
Job Type: Full-time and Part time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
