We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service at the front desk.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Utilize dental terminology to assist patients with inquiries regarding treatments and procedures.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office.
- Handle billing inquiries and insurance verification as needed.
- Familiarize yourself with various electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth, Meditech, Epic, or eClinicalWorks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar front desk role is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using computerized systems for scheduling and record keeping.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth, Meditech, Epic, or eClinicalWorks is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
