Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales & Event Assistant to join our team. This multifaceted role combines sales, customer service, event coordination, and creative decoration. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a passion for creating memorable experiences, and strong organizational abilities. Ample experience with phone sales is highly desired, as this role involves effectively communicating and selling our services via phone and digital channels.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to email inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Provide detailed information about our venue rental options, paint studio sessions, and party packages.
  • Generate and manage sales leads, converting inquiries into bookings.
  • Effectively communicate pricing, availability, and booking procedures.
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Maintain customer database and booking calendar.

Event Coordination & Decoration:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating party details with clients.
  • Decorate the venue according to client specifications and event themes.
  • Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with paint studio set up and break down.

Administrative Duties:

  • Process bookings and payments accurately.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and decorations.
  • Assist with social media management and marketing efforts.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in phone sales or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Creative and artistic flair, with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using computers, email, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to lift and move event supplies and decorations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in event planning or hospitality.
  • Knowledge of art and painting techniques.
  • Experience with point of sale systems.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • After school
  • Weekends as needed
