Job Description
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Celebrate Senior Living of Moline.
Responsibilities:
- Assess the needs of patients and develop individualized treatment plans to promote maximum potential and adaptation within their environment.
- Accurately document patient information and maintain records as required by facility policies.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to provide consultation on swallowing, speech, and cognition-related matters.
- Provide in-service training to staff members on various topics within the discipline.
- Attend and contribute to patient staffing and utilization reviews to ensure coordinated care.
Requirements:
- Masters of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certification of Clinical Competency (CCC) or in process of obtaining CCC post-graduate requirement.
- Licensure to practice in the state where the facility is located.
- At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
