What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist/Front Desk position at Celebration Family Physicians?
Primary care practice looking for a medical receptionist who is a reliable, friendly, and detail oriented team player with excellent customer service skills. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE as a medical receptionist (minimum 6 months) and ability to work at a busy practice.
Job Description:
- Full Time (must be available to work during our business hours), Monday through Friday. 30-40 hours per week. Some overtime may be expected based of business needs.
- Registering patients, tending to patient forms and preparing patient charts.
- Handling inbound and outbound calls.
- Follow procedures to assist patients with a smooth check-in and check-out experience.
- Verify insurance coverage.
- Collecting payments (deductibles, co-pay, patient balances, etc).
- Organizing and filing documents.
- General office duties i.e. data entry, faxing, scanning, etc.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Greet and attend to patients in person with a friendly attitude.
- Coordinate care with patient and medical team.
- Ensuring waiting area is presentable and clean.
