We have openings in Michigan for dedicated School Speech Therapists to join a vibrant SLP team. Your caseload will be fun and diverse. You will evaluate patients and provide treatment in a school setting. Clinical Fellows are absolutely welcome and will thrive here! Out-of-state applicants relocation assistance up to $3000 provided if eligible.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based therapy plans, goals, and treatment for speech/language disorders.
- Evaluate and implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders.
- Provide direct therapy.
- Write clinical SOAP notes.
- Attend and write IEPs.
- Provide supervision for a CF or SLPA if needed or as appropriate.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Full, valid MI SLP license or valid MI teacher certificate Speech/Language Pathology and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Familiarity with communication disorders.
- Ability to build rapport with patients and clinical staff.
- Ability to build rapport with school teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills, commitment, and organizational skills.
