About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hyperion Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and other related applications to meet the evolving needs of our business. You will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Design, develop, and implement Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and FDMEE solutions as per business requirements.
Develop and maintain complex calculations, business rules, and data load scripts.
Create and maintain Financial Reporting (FR) reports and dashboards.
Integrate data from various sources using FDMEE.
Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
Project Delivery:
Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, and implementation.
Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects within budget and scope.
Support & Maintenance:
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Hyperion applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and data integrity.
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and IT stakeholders.
Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Teamwork & Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with offshore teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Actively participate in team meetings and knowledge sharing sessions.
Required Skills & Experience:
Essential:
6-8 years of hands-on experience in Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Hyperion FR, and FDMEE implementation and support.
Strong experience in creating and modifying business rules and calculation scripts within the Hyperion environment.
Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain complex FR reports and dashboards.
In-depth knowledge of FDMEE, including data mapping, transformations, and integrations.
Experience with user and group security administration within the Hyperion environment.
Proficiency in creating and utilizing Smart View ad hoc sheets for analysis and reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with both business and technical stakeholders.
Desirable:
Experience with other Hyperion products such as Data Quality Management (DQM) and Financial Data Quality Management (FDQM).
Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) integrations.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
