About the Role: Provide expert production support for data-intensive applications, ensuring high availability and performance. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Implement automation and monitoring solutions to enhance system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents related to data pipelines and applications.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell.
Monitor system performance and health using tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, Moogsoft, and Prometheus.
Manage service requests and incidents using ServiceNow or Remedy.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.
Optimize SQL queries and data processing workflows.
Support and manage Big Data environments (Hadoop, HDFS) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Perform data modeling and ETL processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide solutions.
Essential Skills:
Strong Python programming and data manipulation skills.
Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Proficiency in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, HDFS).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Solid understanding of ETL, Data Warehousing, and Data Lakes.
