Analyze body fluid specimens in accordance with client protocol, using current standard operating procedures.
Essential Functions
Computer entry of clinical laboratory requests, creating work lists
Set up, operation, and shutdown of clinical laboratory instruments
Body fluid analysis, using manual and automated testing procedures
Quality control evaluation and data review of analytical runs
Preventative maintenance of clinical laboratory instruments
Computer entry of analytical results
Document test data
Inventory control of routine materials used within the clinical lab
Interact with clients
Meetings/in-service education
- Medical Laboratory Technician ( Associate degree or equivalent certification)
- Schedule Monday - Friday (flexible hours)
- Some weekend availability required
