Job Description

Understand the concept of agglomeration using the (3) configurations presently used in processing materials. Running equipment to produce in spec finished product using process documents, recording process data, sampling of material as directed and making changes if necessary to process parameters to maintain quality and finished product specification.

Other responsibilities included but are not limited to:

Principal Duties:

Set up of all three equipment configurations dependent on schedule. Inspection post clean up, prestart (checklists have been developed). Start of equipment based on configuration and material to be run. In-processing testing. Accurate data entry of in-processing testing. In-process sampling. Reporting of any equipment failures or related issues to appropriate personnel. Run material to customer’s specifications, reporting anything that does not comply with set specifications. Communicate with Agglomerator during shift change your process data for the time period you agglomerated.

Understanding of scheduled materials that Production Supervisor dictates, this includes lots, customer to customer, blending of materials, etc CIP set up for different configurations of equipment. Understanding of CIP circuits and language. Proper chemical concentrations and reporting of. Changes if needed to circuit dependent on conductivity levels. Post CIP inspection and corrective if needed – these are outlined on current check off procedure (updates need to be made to current check list). Sanitation of HPP (High Pressure Pump) and slurry tank as prescribed in procedure. Equipment swabbing. Oversee entire shift of personnel ensuring that duties are completed and all corresponding SOP’s are adhered to. Report to management any incidences. Reporting and reviewing with supervisor, regarding raw and finished materials, also completion, packaging, and storage of finished materials. Work with Production supervisor with any off-specification material.  In case of any off-specification material a disposition or corrective action may be required. Responsible for working with trial materials and communications with Production supervisor and QA/QC. Training and assisting lower level Agglomerators.
