Our client is looking for team members to add to their team to work in local schools as a Food Service Worker. Work Monday-Friday 9:30am to 2:30pm.
- Must be able to read and write English, to do simple arithmetic, be able to follow oral and written direction
- Work independently, while also being able to work closely and collaboratively with other staff and district members
- Maintain confidentiality of student information
- Maintain records of food used
- Operation of equipment including-steam tables, hot food carts, computer, freezer, and milk coolers
- Afternoon operation of disassembly of cleaning/sanitizing of all major kitchen equipment-ovens, steamers, and steam kettle
- Operation of dish machine
- Understand serving and portioning Setting up cafeteria serving lines, replenishing food items and organizing the lines
- Cashiering tasks require accuracy in computer operation
- While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk, and stand, including periods of both talk and hear, both in person and by phone; reach, carry, push, and/or pull with hands and arms
- Must pass pre-employment screenings including background check, pre-employment physical and complete TB testing
