Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Training Period: 1-2 weeks on 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM shift)
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and dependable 3rd shift Shipping Associate to join our team. This position involves handling various tasks related to warehouse operations, including loading/unloading trucks, order picking, material handling, and forklift operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment and the ability to efficiently complete tasks while ensuring the safe handling of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform loading and unloading of shipments in a timely manner.
- Accurately pick small and large orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Safely operate a forklift to move products and materials.
- Scan items using a barcode scanner to track inventory.
- Maintain inventory organization and ensure product is stored in the correct locations.
- Assist in packing, labeling, and verifying shipments to ensure order accuracy.
- Perform periodic cycle counts and assist in general warehouse maintenance.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in warehouse shipping, receiving, or material handling.
- Must be comfortable working at heights.
- Valid forklift certification required, with demonstrated safe and efficient operation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperature conditions.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with scanning technology and ERP systems.
