Our Neenah client is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this critical role, you'll be the go-to expert for keeping our production equipment running smoothly and efficiently. You'll tackle a variety of tasks, from routine preventative maintenance to complex troubleshooting and repairs. Imagine yourself:

• Deciphering blueprints and manuals: You'll use your sharp mind and technical skills to understand equipment specifications and ensure optimal performance.
• Solving puzzles under pressure: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Your quick thinking and resourcefulness will be invaluable.
• Crafting solutions: Machine parts to precise tolerances, ensuring the perfect fit and function for our equipment.
• Proactive maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance to keep our equipment in top condition and prevent costly breakdowns.
• Continuous improvement: Contribute your ideas and expertise to enhance equipment performance, improve make-ready processes, boost product quality, and increase yield. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our operations.
• Collaborating with a winning team: Work closely with the Team Manager and Department Lead, participating in group meetings to brainstorm solutions and optimize production speeds.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

• High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in production maintenance.
• An Associate Degree in mechanical or industrial maintenance is a plus!
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply common sense to complex situations.
• Physical stamina to meet the demands of the job, including climbing, squatting, bending, reaching, and lifting/moving up to 75 lbs.
• Proficiency in operating a variety of equipment, including hoist trucks, lifts, lathes, mills, welders, and precision measuring tools.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Solid math skills, including decimals, fractions, and geometry.
• Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Experience in the printing industry is a plus!
