What You'll Do:
- Kickstart the Press: Start presses and pull proofs to ensure impeccable ink coverage, alignment, and registration.
- Read the Blueprint: Examine job orders to determine printing quantities, stock specifications, colors, and any special instructions.
- Tune the Flow: Adjust ink fountain flow rates to achieve optimal performance.
- Check Specs: Verify that paper and ink meet job requirements to maintain our high standards.
- Feed and Adjust: Load paper through press cylinders while fine-tuning feed and tension controls.
- Prep the Press: Secure printing plates to units and make necessary adjustments for paper size.
- Monitor Systems: Oversee automated press operations and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Adapt as Needed: Change press plates, blankets, or cylinders to ensure high-quality output.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in machine operation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
