Production Supervisor Reports To: Production Manager
About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Production Supervisor to join our dynamic 1st shift team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations within your assigned department. You will lead and mentor a team of skilled production associates, ensuring efficient and safe production processes while meeting customer demands and exceeding quality standards.
Pay $27/hr
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Train and develop production personnel, providing ongoing coaching and support. Assign daily work responsibilities to the team, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation. Motivate and empower the team to achieve departmental objectives while meeting customer requirements.
Safety & Quality: Confirm compliance with all safety and job procedures within the team, fostering a safe and healthy work environment. Maintain high quality standards throughout the production process, identifying and addressing any quality issues promptly.
Production Efficiency: Meet daily production requirements, ensuring on-time delivery of products. Continuously analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement.
Employee Development: Conduct regular performance reviews for assigned employees, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for growth.
Equipment Maintenance: Operate and troubleshoot production equipment effectively. Complete maintenance request forms as required to ensure equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
Workplace Organization: Organize, assign, and confirm completion of housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Production Supervisor within a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively train, motivate, and mentor a team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficient in reading and interpreting as well as basic math. Experience with safety protocols and procedures. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
