Role Description
This part-time remote role is for an Remote Therapist at Celestial Hope Rising Services. The Clinician will provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment to clients. They will also develop and implement treatment plans, provide crisis intervention and patient advocacy, and maintain records compliant with industry regulations.
Role Responsibilities
· Assess clients’ needs and level of functioning.
· Meet with clients for individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions.
· Provide crisis counseling and safety planning to individuals, children, and families as necessary.
· Provide clinical interventions for teachers, parents, and caregivers to generalize skills in other environments.
· Provide collateral parties with information to best meet the client’s needs as necessary.
· Complete appropriate mental health documentation, including but not limited to client plans, biopsychosocial assessments, performance
outcomes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries as required.
· Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations and standards, including COMAR regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Clinician (LMSW), Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC), or equivalent
- Experience with individuals, couples, family, or group therapy, and knowledge of evidence-based practices in psychotherapy
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population
- Understanding of ethical and legal issues related to clinical practice and knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and client records
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, training, and supervision
- 1-3 years of experience

Responsibilities:
- Assess the nature of clients’ situations by interviewing and reviewing personal history
- Develop and execute individual treatment plans
- Determine appropriate milestones to gauge client progress
- Communicate client updates to all relevant parties
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programs
- Maintain accurate client documentation
